I am an explorer, out-of-the-box-thinker, visualizer... grill-er.  I have lived around the world and have come full circle back to the South.  I like to push expand my comfort zone, hence going back to school in 2016 and learning about Geographic Information Systems (GIS).  I use maps on a daily basis.  Whether finding a new cycling route or driving my cat and bike up to Canada, I depend on them.  It has been the most exciting year of my life to realize that there is so much more to maps and map-making then I ever imagined... and to know that I now can be a part of the fascinating world of GIS.
